card games

Emily and Benjamin were making up their own card game with Ryan's leftover Spiderman valentines cards. It amazes me how kids do that. They make up some totally random game and somehow they all know the rules even though they're unspoken. It's an enigma as old as time. I wonder if children have some alternate form of communication that you lose as you grow older.

You've been busy creating all these posts! It's been fun to see into the life of the Mathews family!! Your kids are getting so big, I can't believe Benjamin! I guess it makes sense since he's older than Gary and I can't believe how big he is either. I hope that Haddie isn't asthmetic, that's no fun! Good luck!

I am glad you had a great birthday. Turning 30 definitely made me step back and reflect. I love your scripture mastery things. I bet you could turn that into a business. I'd want to buy those!

Yes, I think kids do have their own unspoken language. I haven't been by your blog for a while so I was reading all of them. Your scrapbooking is absolutely adorable. I need to get back into it. Your children are so cute. Talia and Kami love to pick out Peytons clothes and get her dressed too. It's fun to have mini me's around the house to help out. And Happy Late birthday!

By the way, the font I used on the new year's eve page is just a font that is already on my computer called "carbon block" then with adobe photoshop elements 5 I used the bevel enhancement to give it the shadow effect.
