Precious!

She is just the sweetest baby! She rarely cries, and she's just happy to be alive!
Here's Julia holding her sister. Once again one of the cutest things I think I've ever seen!

Daddy

We all loved having daddy home this week! Here he is wrestling with the kids.
Giving Julie some hugs.
Reading stories and holding Haddie.
The boys looked cute in their matching pajamas sitting together in the recliner and Ryan reading stories to his brother. Oh, so cute!

Getting some sun.
Everyone wants a turn to hold her.
Even Ben thinks he's big enough to cart her around.
I love when she makes this face. It makes me laugh. It's the face of Haddie patiently putting up with all the noise, commotion and love that she receives.

Home at last!

My cute friend Sarah helped Julia and Emily make this sign for me.
Here's daddy and Haddie. I think Julia made herself sick. She is a rather emotional child. I don't think she even recognized how it really made her feel to have a new baby home. She was so excited and loves Haddie.
Worn out by all the excitement and the emotional overload!
Daddy already loves helping Haddie have "happy awake time".

Coming Home!

She certainly is a little startler who loves to stretch.

Ryan took this picture. He did a great job. I have no clue what face I'm making.
Finally, all snug in her carseat and ready to go home!

Here she is!

Hadley was born early Sunday morning. She weighed 6 lbs. 12 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long.
Here she is the next day with sister Emily.

The Countdown!

The countdown to Hadley Christine has begun. The doctor scheduled me to be induced on the 19th of November. We have to be there at 5:30 in the morning, which means little Haddie will probably make her entrance into the world around lunch! For some strange reason I don't look very big this time. Partly because I'll deliver at 38 weeks, and my other theory is that my other kids stretched out my internal organs to the point where there's lots of room inside!
We are excited, kids are crazy, things are getting broken left and right. There's been more tears already this week than I remember in a long time. Emotions are high. I think everyone is ready to have mommy back to normal. We would appreciate your prayers and thoughts as we welcome our last baby into our family! It will be my first experience with an epidural and it makes me nervous. I also feel badly about kicking her out two weeks early, but my health is a concern this time around. It's weird to be considered a "high risk" pregnancy. It does have it's advantages though, like being induced at 38 weeks exactly and avoiding the last two weeks of torture!

The park

Scott has gotten into a marvelous habit of taking the kids to the park on Saturday. They love it and it gives me some time to rest! It was cool, this Saturday they ended up at the same park as our good friends from church. She had her camera with her and I got cute pictures of my kids via email that same night! Thanks Sarah!

Boys and trains

What is it about boys and trains? Both of my boys from 2 to 3 years old have become obsessed with trains. Ben spends most of everyday invovled in some sort of activity that is directly related to trains. In a way, it's been fun to live so close to an active train track, because he loves to watch them chug by.
Even Ryan at 7 doesn't have to be convinced to play a good game of trains.

Happy Birthday Ben!

The 3rd was Ben's B-day! We are so glad that 3 years ago he made his entrance into our family. Life is never boring with Benjamin around. He is a kid who knows what he wants and goes after it no holds-barred!
Looking at the pictures, his birthday looks a little lame. It really wasn't. Friday morning he has a playgroup with three friends and we all had a party. Saturday he got his present from mom and dad, and then Sunday his Uncle Todd and Aunt Lala and cousins came over to celebrate. He got a soccer ball and more cupcakes!
I found these cute diego cupcake toppers and muffin liners at Wal-Mart, it was perfect!
